Landlords or slumlords? There is a property on south hill which is owned by this rather unreasonable establishment. It has the worst mold problem i have ever experienced in my 15 years of living in Bellingham. When first contacted, the realty agency told the tenants that it was their fault for not turning the heat on soon enough, even though the inspection sheets from years past document mold in the same locations. Two of the tenants have moved out and are attempting to find roommates to replace them. So far three individuals have attempted to live in the home. One man left after a month because the moisture was destroying his instruments and tools. Next, two girls attempted to move in only to leave the following morning! The mold was so bad that one of them complained that her throat was closing up. There is currently one tenant living in the home and the other two who are on the lease have moved out. If they break the lease they will still be held liable for rent through the end of the agreement. This house is unlivable. Help us to end this with the tenants interests in mind.
